Holly Galvin, Attorney at Law
Holly Galvin joined SI Elder Law in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to a United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Illinois. There, she worked with cases involving federal criminal and civil law. Before serving on the United States District Court, Holly served as a staff attorney for the Illinois Fifth District Appellate Court in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In that role, she researched a vast array of legal topics involving Illinois law and wrote orders and opinions for the appellate court judges.
Holly obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a major in Pre-Law from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2008. Holly graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2011. She was an assistant commentary editor for the Journal of Legal Medicine as well as a Taylor Mattis Fellow. In 2015, Holly obtained a Legal Masters (LLM) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, taking several courses in Estate Planning and Transactions.
Holly is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Seventh Circuit Appellate Bar Association, the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association, and the Washington State Bar Association
